I graduated from the University of Hull in 2022 with a First Class in Politics and International Relations. My undergraduate dissertation focused on the counter-terrorism measures taken by Indonesia since the fall of Suharto. The dissertation aimed to provide a critical analysis of these measures, while highlighting the need for a revision of the country’s counter-terrorism strategy in order to adequately combat the capabilities of modern-day terrorism.

Through working with Treatied Spaces, I aim to further my understanding of the effects of space activities. I will work with Dr. Matthias Wong to assist with research surrounding the social and environmental impacts of space related activities.

From this internship, I hope to develop the analytic and research skills I gained during university. Working with Treatied Spaces will also provide me with a greater knowledge on the impact of space activities on social groups and the environment, as well as the methods being implemented to counter these issues. This topic brings together several disciplines in order to provide a detailed understanding of the issue.
