As part of my previous project with the Centre for Water Cultures studying the conflict at Pebble Mine in Bristol Bay, Alaska, I researched environmental justice and Indigenous sovereign rights through the fight against the environmental destruction caused by the exploitation of Pebble Mine. Understanding our relationship with water and environment was at the core of this project.
