Stewardship, Communitarianism and (Intellectual) Property: The Philosophical Foundations of Traditional Knowledge Protection

Joy Porter has been invited to attend a seminar on Stewardship, Communitarianism and (Intellectual) Property: The Philosophical Foundations of Traditional Knowledge Protection, to be held at Harvard Law School (HLS) on 14 April 2023. The seminar will address competing frameworks and philosophies for the protection of traditional knowledge assets. Speakers and participants will debate alternative visions of the common good, including competing conceptions of the public domain and the political economy of global knowledge governance. Hosted by the HLS Project on Biblical Stewardship and Traditional Knowledge and Professor Ruth Okediji, the programme includes a keynote by Professor Michael Sandel, Anne T. and Robert M. Bass Professor of Government, Harvard University.
