Projects and Partnerships
I recently graduated from the University of Hull with a Bachelor’s in History with Economics. As a passionate environmentalist, I am particularly interested by the link between historic indigenous treaties and environmental concerns in modern America. Having completed my dissertation on environmental degradation in China during the 20th century, I am excited to collaborate with Treatied Spaces on a project which places land, resources and the environment at the heart of the question of indigenous sovereignty. As a partnership and collaborations intern, I intend to use my experience in community organising and stakeholder management to help maintain and develop the research cluster’s international partnerships. I believe that by promoting international collaboration between academics, it is possible for us to gain critical insight that will help us meet the environmental, cultural and political challenges of the twenty-first century.
